Project Type - ASPNET Cloud IoT Computer Vision
The gig leverages Python, ASP.NET and Azure Cloud for development of IoT apps, integrated with web RESTful APIs, to implement business applications or AI-based solutions. It also features Computer Vision (OpenCV) including image processing on data collected by a local IoT. In summary, it includes the following major stages:
- Requirements Gathering and Clarification
- Software Modelling and Development
- Testing and Deployment
This gig provides the following services, based on the tiers (1, 2, 3):
- Functional Web app deployed on Azure App Service
- Integration to database deployed on Azure MySQL (1, 2, 3)
- Integration to database deployed on Azure MS SQL Server (2, 3)
- Functional Web App and Web API app (RESTful APIs) deployed on 2x Azure App Services (3)
- Local IoT app to collect data locally (video feed) for local processing and push to the cloud via REST APIs (3)
- Integration to Azure Blob Storage (2, 3)
The following steps are taken to implement the project. This should be expected to be higher for the higher tiers
- User requirements and clarification/review of expected outcomes (7 days)
- Feasibility study/discussion (3-4 days – concurrent with no 1.)
- Concept diagrams, architecture designs (3-4 days)
- Analysis and design (7-9 days – concurrent with no 3.)
- Development (20-40 days based on complexity)
- Testing (14 days – partially concurrent with 5.)
- Delivery and validation against requirements
- Support
These are approximate timelines and are defined by the project complexity.
